Almost at the finish line with my whole 30 challenge and I needed to spice things up. I decided to grill some Hawaiian burgers for me and my parent over the weekend! Grilling the pineapples gives the fruit a yummy caramelization that adds a nice sweet touch to your burger.
2-3 sirloin patties
Guac (store bought or homemade)
1/2 Red onion, sliced and ready to grill
The portions are up to you on this one! Basically, you’re building the burger of your dreams. Grill everything to your liking (except the guac…obvi) and assemble! I added lots and lots of guac to mine and one sliced pineapple topped with the grilled red onions, and yummmm. It was like a tropical party in my mouth… All that was missing was a piña colada in my hand.
