Jill Wallace, blogger of Little Black Boots, has the best bohemian, free-spirited and effortless style. While I sound very mean girls, I saw her wearing a peasant blouse and an overall dress, so I had to wear a peasant blouse and overall dress. Of course, I added my little flair. 🙂 Plus, I had to top it off with little black boots.
This outfit truly made me feel like it was finally fall! I love prints but I especially love leopard for fall. Where it’s a little chillier, feel free to wear a cute sweater and tights under an overall dress like this. We’re still hitting the high 80’s here in Miami, so this is the best I could do (and I was still sweating!) Can’t wait till it gets colder here so I can definitely try this outfit with a sweater.
I had the great opportunity to collab with the Young & Reckless brand. They have badass shirts for men and women! They’re so comfy and fun and are great to wear with anything!
I decided to style this one in the perfect way for Miami. In the summer, there’s always pool parties, boat days and numerous aquatic activities. While you’re just lounging, rock your Y&R tank with a cute bikini bottom. This American Apparel one is so fun, stays on trend and lets you hide on those days you feel a little bloated. :O
Overalls and Birkenstocks: two trends everyone should try this season. They’re both so comfortable and easy. I wanted to show that overalls can be worn a dozen different ways! Even as shorts to add a little edge to your outfit.
I love leopard EVERYTHING so I just had to get these in leopard. Honestly, I think leopard can go with almost anything and also adds something fun to any outfit.
I hope you guys try some new trends and never say never! What I do recommend is trying the cheaper version of those trendy pieces, go crazy, so you don’t suffer buyer’s remorse and you’ll still look super chic. 😉
Sometimes girls have greasy hair and just feel like being in baggy pants…that was me. I felt like a little boy but I loved it! I decided to add some tszuj with my favorite heels (which I can’t walk in) and a statement necklace. I dare you to go out of comfort zone & try some boy-ish looks. It’s fun. 🙂
I never thought I’d be into the overalls trend but I’m actually kind of digging it. I had a bit of a “fashion malfunction” while wearing these because one of the buckle, snaps, whatever they’re called, flew off so I had to one-strap this mofo. But, it worked. These overalls also gave me kind of a grandma butt but I guess that comes with the territory of a onesie. Hillbilly chic.
