I LOVE mixing prints! Checkered prints are super in for fall so it’s always fun to mix to mix two different versions of a similar print. But don’t forget my advice, when mixing prints, always make sure one bring is smaller or bigger than the other. This stops you from looking like a crazy lady!
When I saw this top, I knew I had to have it! I am definitely a working-class person working with class. 😉 Graphic tees are so much and so easy to wear! They add a sort of edge to an outfit and can easily be dressed up or down. For example, pair this top with a mini skirt and some cool booties and you’re ready to take on the night! Find a cool graphic tee that describes you.
As I’ve said several times, transitioning into fall is almost impossible in Miami with this 90 degree weather. Little slip dresses like this make it seamless. Grab a light, flowy dress in a fall color, add some booties and you’ve got a chic fall look you won’t die of a heat stroke in.
Like most girls are self conscious about their body, I am self conscious about being skinny. Some things just don’t fit me right because of my lack of curves. I usually NEVER wear strapless pieces because they really make me look extremely thin, which I hate. SO I always try and improvise because there’s always going to be those pieces you just have to have.
I absolutely love this jumpsuit from BLUSH. It is so comfortable, chic and it has pockets (which is always a plus.) Since it was strapless, I decided to add the mesh top to be able to cover up the area I don’t feel great about. I loved that you could still see the print through the top and it actually added a great touch. The jumpsuit was also very long (especially for a girl standing at a mere 5’2) so I tied it at the hem. This helped with my boho-arabian-vibe.
I’m glad I was able to wear this jumpsuit and reinvent the outfit into something that made me feel comfortable. So, don’t hesitate from trying something outside of your comfort zone but, when in doubt, change up the outfit until it suits you best!
I got the great opportunity to collab with WET Swimwear during Swim Week. They hosted an amazing pool party at the Delano to bring Swim Week to an end. Unfortunately, due to pure exhaustion, I was not able to make it to the pool party. Swim Week really takes the life out of you! All day events in the scorching heat, not to mention the heels, are killer. (Major #blogger probz.) Instead, I decided to shoot this adorable little number at the beach.
I absolutely LOVED this bathing suit. It gives you support as well as a little lift (for us flatter chested girls.) This bathing suit gave me confidence and it was super comfortable! I opted for a different bottom than the one displayed with the top to add a little edginess to the girly top. I love mixing and matching bathing suits so who knows what I’ll add next to this fun little number. 😉
Another hot day called for a semi-naked outfit. The day started at Soho Beach House for a brunch hosted by ASOS and then went on to the Boulan for a pool party hosted by WildFox. ASOS had a delicious spread, yummy cocktails and some awesome clothing. A designer was showcasing her collection that will be coming to ASOS.com in November. Chock full of neoprene pieces and floral fun-ness, I was completely in love with the line. (Sorry for the lack of pictures, I was having too much fun at the event!!) The WildFox pool party was also a blast! Sweat and all. Free burgers and uber discounted clothing made for an awesome event.
I chose this fun romper because I loved the gold detailing on the straps as well as the airy feel to it. Black and white is always the best way to go because accessorizing becomes so much easier! I was able to do some fun mirrored sunglasses as well as a neon clutch.
By the way, for those who always have a problem finding a bra to wear for low back or backless items, this is the bra for you! I. Am. In. Love. It gives you a lift and looks really cute doing it. It’s also available in a ton of colors. I recommend every girl tries this bra!
